Build a T&EO Shortlist for Your Next Training Meeting
You find a useful record during planning, close the tab, and later search for it again. ArmyTEO’s new Saved tasks feature keeps those references together on the browser you use. Start with one decision: which reference needs to be ready for your next training meeting?
1. Start with the decision you need to make
For an administrative example, suppose you need the 42A Human Resources Specialist Skill Level 1 individual critical task list (ICTL). Search 42A in the ArmyTEO catalog. Multiple records may match, so compare the title, skill level, document type, and other identifying metadata shown before choosing one. Similar titles alone do not tell you which record you need.
Search tip: begin with the code or a short title phrase. If a long phrase returns nothing, shorten it and check whether an active filter is narrowing the results.
2. Save the records you expect to use again
On the record you want to revisit, select Save task. Open Saved tasks to see your list. Saving does not require an account. Return using the same browser when you prepare for the meeting.
Keep the list focused. Saved · Remove removes one entry; Clear saved clears the list. These actions affect your saved references, not the underlying catalog records.
3. Pair each reference with one unresolved question
Keep planning notes in your unit’s existing approved process. For each selected task, record:
Reference: the task number and exact title.
Check: the source and version information that still need confirmation.
Decision: the resource, evaluator, or preparation question to resolve.
Follow-up: the responsible role and when the answer is needed.
For the 42A example, your question might be: “Which listed record applies to this skill level, and who will confirm the current version?” Saving helps you return to that question. It does not verify currency or establish that training is ready. Check the controlling Army source and current unit guidance.
4. Share the exact record and keep the list current
Select Copy link to get an exact record link. If automatic copying is unavailable, select and copy the displayed address manually. Add the record identifier and your question to your existing coordination notes.
Sharing the link does not grant document access. Army source requirements and ArmyTEO Go sign-in still apply. After the event, remove references you no longer need and carry unresolved questions into your AAR follow-up.
Know where your saved list lives
The list is stored on this browser and does not sync between devices. Clearing site data can remove it. If browser storage is blocked, ArmyTEO tells you that changes last only for the current visit. Keep needed record links in your existing planning notes before switching devices. Saving a task does not download its PDF for offline use.
