ArmyTEO Frequently Asked Questions
ArmyTEO helps visitors find T&EO records and understand the available route to each record. These answers explain the search index, Army source links, ArmyTEO Go, and the limits of an unofficial reference tool.
Is ArmyTEO an official Army or DoD website?
No. ArmyTEO is an unofficial, independent resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official service of the U.S. Army or Department of Defense.
How many records can I search?
The current index contains 4,913 searchable records. That number describes records presently indexed by ArmyTEO and is not a claim that the site contains every T&EO ever created.
How do I save and revisit tasks?
Choose Save task on a catalog record. Open Saved tasks to return to your shortlist on this browser. No account is needed to save. The list does not sync across devices, and clearing browser storage can remove it.
Can I look up several task numbers at once?
Open the catalog and choose Look up multiple task numbers. Enter up to 25 task numbers, separated by new lines, commas, or semicolons. Results show missing numbers and every matching record. Check the Army source and version before choosing, then save records individually. For a bare MOS/AOC code, use single search.
What is the difference between Army Network and ArmyTEO Go?
Army Network identifies a direct Army source route. Some destinations are available only from an Army-network-connected device. ArmyTEO Go identifies a PDF that ArmyTEO can deliver through its account-access library. A record can show either route or both.
Does ArmyTEO Go cost money?
No paid ArmyTEO Go plan is currently offered. Create or use an ArmyTEO account to access PDFs marked as available in Go.
Does every catalog record have a Go PDF?
No. ArmyTEO currently indexes 4,913 records and has 412 PDFs available in ArmyTEO Go. Records without a Go file may still include an Army source route and useful identifying metadata.
Are all indexed records publicly releasable?
Do not assume that from inclusion in the index. ArmyTEO shows a public-release statement only when the existing source data supports it. A searchable title or source link alone is not a release determination.
Does ArmyTEO host restricted or CAC-only material?
ArmyTEO does not bypass Army network, CAC, or other access restrictions. A restricted destination may still appear as an identifying record or Army source route, but the index does not make the underlying material accessible outside the controlling system.
How do I know whether a document is current?
Treat the Army system that controls the record as authoritative. Compare the task number, title, publication or effective information when present, and source before operational use. An ArmyTEO verification field, when shown, tells you when ArmyTEO last checked the indexed route or record; it does not replace an official currency determination.
What should I do if a record appears wrong?
Send the task number, title, affected URL, and a short description of the problem to info@armyteo.com. Include the branch or MOS/AOC when it helps identify the record. Do not send controlled or restricted files.
