Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 8, 2026
Website: ArmyTEO.com
ArmyTEO.com respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices when you use the website. ArmyTEO is an independent resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Army, Department of Defense, or any government agency.
Information we collect
We may collect information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, or message when using a contact form, newsletter signup, or account feature. Basic usage information may include pages visited, links clicked, device and browser type, approximate location, referring website, and general analytics data. Cookies and similar technologies support website functions, analytics, and advertising.
Please do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, government identification, CAC information, or controlled documents through contact or privacy requests.
How we use information
We use information to operate and improve the website; manage accounts and access to member features; respond to inquiries; send newsletters when you choose to subscribe; understand site usage; improve content and navigation; monitor performance and security; and support advertising, analytics, or affiliate programs.
Cookies and analytics
ArmyTEO uses Wix for website hosting and site features. Necessary cookies support functions such as security and member sign-in. Analytics and advertising technologies may collect usage information when enabled. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent some features from working.
ArmyTEO uses Usercentrics for Wix to present cookie and similar-technology choices. Choose Accept All or Deny in the banner. To customize the Functional, Analytical and Marketing categories, open Settings and select Save Settings when finished. Essential services remain selected and cannot be switched off in the banner. To review or change your saved choices, use the Privacy Settings fingerprint icon on the website.
Learn about cookies used by Wix and read the Wix Privacy Policy. External services have their own privacy practices.
Catalog search and link usage: Your search text, selected filters and sort order, and the number of matching results may be sent to Wix for usage measurement and technical logs. Please do not enter personal, sensitive or controlled information in catalog searches. We also count catalog link selections to identify popular records.
Saved tasks: When you select Save task, ArmyTEO stores only that task’s catalog identifier in your browser. Saved tasks do not sync across devices or download PDFs. Use Remove or Clear saved in the catalog to delete them, or clear ArmyTEO’s site data in your browser. If storage is blocked, changes last only for that visit.
Advertising and third-party services
When advertising is enabled on ArmyTEO, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads using those visits.
You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also review participating advertising companies' choices at YourAdChoices. Learn more about how Google uses information from partner sites.
Third-party services may support analytics, hosting, forms, email newsletters, embedded content, and other site functions. Those services process information according to their own privacy policies.
TWIPLA analytics is configured to use Light Privacy mode, which can recognize visits from browser and device characteristics (fingerprinting) without cookies. Session-recording settings exclude URLs containing armyteo.com. This exclusion applies to recordings; other analytics may still operate. See TWIPLA’s explanation of its privacy modes.
Affiliate and external links
Some pages contain affiliate links. If you follow one and make a purchase, ArmyTEO may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links do not influence the independence of the content. Linked government systems, retailers, and other external websites have their own policies. Review those policies before providing information or purchasing. ArmyTEO does not control their privacy practices, security, availability, or content.
User accounts and email
ArmyTEO offers member accounts for access to site features, including the available ArmyTEO Go PDF library. Information you provide is used to create and manage your account, provide access, and communicate about account or website services. Keep your login information secure.
We may use your email to respond to inquiries and send newsletters if you subscribe. Our Wix email-marketing settings enable measurement of email opens to help us understand newsletter engagement. You can stop marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting info@armyteo.com. A privacy request does not subscribe you to marketing.
Account and personal-information requests
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your ArmyTEO personal information or account, email info@armyteo.com with the subject “ArmyTEO privacy request.” Describe the request and identify the email associated with your account. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, government identification, CAC information, or controlled documents.
We may ask for limited information needed to verify that a request concerns your account. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations, security, or unresolved transactions. Deleting an account can remove access to member features. Your rights may vary depending on your location.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through ArmyTEO. No website, internet transmission, or electronic storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Forms and signup may use Google reCAPTCHA to help detect bots and automated abuse. When it runs, reCAPTCHA can set a security cookie for risk analysis. Learn more about reCAPTCHA.
Children's privacy
ArmyTEO is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
