Find and compare Signal references
Use this directory to identify Signal publications and training references by complete number, title and intended audience. It brings together ATP, FM and FMI entries, graphic training aids, and Soldier's Manual and Trainer's Guide references. These are different kinds of material. Start with the reference type you need, then compare the linked Army record and document rather than relying on the page category alone.
Keep the prefix and change wording
Several entries share a number family or subject but use different publication prefixes. The list includes ATP 6-02.53 and FM 6-02.53, as well as ATP, FM and FMI entries in the 6-02.70 family. Keep the entire identifier and any Change 1 wording with the title. Similar numbering does not establish that two entries are interchangeable or that one has superseded another.
The FM 6-02.70 title also appears as linked and unlinked entries with different capitalization. Both remain as recorded. A missing hyperlink does not establish restricted status, and a working hyperlink does not certify unrestricted release. Follow the destination's instructions and document markings.
Match the audience before choosing a guide
The STP entries include MOS labels and different skill-level ranges. For example, the 25S title lists levels 1 through 4, while the 25Z title names level 4. Retain those details when recording a reference. Check the source's audience, edition information and applicable unit guidance; do not infer a current MOS designation or replace an older label from memory.
Check the source and keep a useful shortlist
Compare the full number and title with the controlling Army source and document cover before use. For task records, open the catalog, search an exact identifier or distinctive title, and save relevant records individually. Open Saved tasks to revisit them on this browser; the list does not sync across devices. Saving or sharing a record does not grant document access. ArmyTEO is an unofficial discovery tool, not the authority for publication currency or release status.
