Find and check Infantry references

Use this page as a starting point for finding Infantry reference material. The source list brings together several kinds of records: doctrine publications, training circulars, graphic training aids, training support packages, task reports, and other references. Some entries retain older publication numbers or historical titles. An entry’s presence here does not establish that it is the current edition or the right reference for a particular unit.

Match the publication to your need

Begin with the publication number and full title. For Infantry references, compare the unit type and echelon in the title with what you need—for example, a rifle platoon, Stryker company, or Infantry battalion. Similar titles can cover different organizations, and two links with the same title can lead to different source records. Keep those distinctions when collecting references.

Check the official record

Before relying on a document, use the Army Publishing Directorate to search by number or title. Check the publication date, incorporated changes, status, and any supersession information shown in the official record. For a training product held elsewhere, check its Army source record as well. If an older entry has been replaced, use the replacement identified by the official publisher rather than assuming that a familiar filename is current.

Connect the reference to a task

Doctrine and task evaluation material serve different purposes. When you need a task’s evaluation requirements, find the matching task number and title in the ArmyTEO catalog, then check the source task record and applicable T&EO. The Army’s Training Management Directorate describes T&EOs as references for task performance and proficiency standards.

Use Save task on catalog records you expect to revisit. Your shortlist stays in the same browser; saving does not verify document currency or grant access.

Links below are source references. Some open a catalog or directory instead of a specific file. Read the destination record, access instructions, and document markings before using or sharing material; this page does not independently certify each item’s release status.

Source references

Entries without a link are reference titles only. Some linked entries open a source directory rather than a specific document.
