Find Armor references by full publication number, title, format and source. Compare editions and access routes before choosing material for training.

Find and compare Armor references

Use this directory to identify Armor references by complete publication number, title, audience and source. The entries include field manuals, a techniques publication, graphic training aids, a duty-position reference and a certification item. They serve different purposes. Start with the kind of reference you need, then compare the identifying details on the linked Army record or document.

Keep the complete identifier and format

A familiar subject is not enough to select an edition. This list includes ATP 3-90.99 and FM 90-3 under Desert Operations, while other entries use FM 17-series and FM 3-series numbers. Keep the prefix, full number and any change wording with the title. Their presence together does not establish which item is current or whether one replaces another.

TC 21-306 appears as an unlinked reference, an Army catalog destination and a direct PDF destination. Those are different entries. A catalog record may provide identifying context, while a file link opens a particular document. Compare both when available; do not choose solely from the filename or assume that repeated titles mean identical versions.

Check the source before relying on the reference

Compare the number and title with the document cover and the controlling Army source. Review edition or effective information and applicable unit guidance before using material for training. Follow the source's access requirements and document markings. A hyperlink does not certify public-release status, and a missing hyperlink does not establish that a publication is restricted. Unlinked entries remain useful search terms.

Connect a reference to a task record

For task-specific records, open the catalog and search an exact task number or a distinctive title. Save relevant catalog records individually and return to Saved tasks on this browser. Saving a record does not grant access to its document. ArmyTEO is an unofficial discovery tool; the Army source remains authoritative.
